Wow ~ Burgeoning gardens of the summer – just about the farthest thing there is from what’s out there right now. The sun is out, but everything is icy cold – the garden photos in the Rocky Mountain News collection are welcome fodder for us hibernating green thumb types. Search “Garden Rocky Mountain News” and you will find a trove of great garden tour photos from all around the Front Range. Gardens are a favorite for photographers; they hold still, and if the light is right, can yield some delightful images.
Today’s photo is one of about 20 that have been added to the Rocky Mountain News Favorites gallery linked below. There are hundreds of thousands of images in this new collection, so this gallery will probably continue to grow. Enjoy the visuals!
“Wow Photo Wednesday” celebrates photographs in the Denver Public Library’s Digital Collections that have “The Wow Factor” and that highlight the myriad delightful nuggets in our database.
